Our tours operate rain or shine, as tropical rain showers in Thailand usually don’t last long. If it rains heavily, we try to seek shelter and will continue as soon as the weather improves. During the rainy season, it’s a good idea to bring a raincoat or poncho. Please note cancellations due to weather are not eligible for a refund.

This unique (private) excursion combines a short local train journey from Chiang Mai to Lamphun with a cultural discovery of one of Northern Thailand’s oldest and most overlooked historic towns. While most travelers only visit Chiang Mai, Lamphun remains largely untouched by mass tourism despite being located just a short distance away.
Travel by traditional 3rd class train like the locals do, explore ancient temples dating back to the Haripunchai Kingdom, stroll through an authentic local market and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a town rich in history and culture.
