Istanbul
We will begin our tour in the morning in Istanbul’s Old City, where we’ll visit some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, and the Basilica Cistern. Around midday, we’ll head to a high-quality, authentic Turkish/Ottoman restaurant for a delicious lunch. Afterward, we’ll take a leisurely walk through the famous Grand Bazaar and the surrounding streets filled with charming, traditional shops. We’ll enjoy a cup of Turkish coffee, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn about Turkish carpets, ceramics, lamps, and other local handicrafts.
To cap off our tour with an unforgettable experience, we’ll leave the most flavorful stop for last—the Spice Bazaar! Here, we’ll taste world-renowned Turkish delight, explore countless varieties of herbal teas and spices, and if you wish, you can do some shopping. When the tour ends, I’ll be happy to accompany you back to your hotel and bid you farewell.
