By far the most imposing and well-known tourist attraction in Bucharest is the Palace of the Parliament or as Nicolae Ceausescu called it, the People's Palace. Located high on Arsenal Hill, the current Palace of the Parliament is certified as the second administrative building in the world after the Pentagon. The building described in numbers and statistics is astonishing: 270 meters long, 245 meters wide, 86 meters high, 92 meters deep (below ground level), 1,000,000 cubic meters of Ruschita marble, 700 architects, and the numbers don't stop there. !
Visiting is only possible with a reservation made 24-48 hours in advance, and the visitor is required to have an identity card or passport on him (not a driver's license or insurance card). The standard tour lasts approximately 1 hour.

It is one of the largest intersections in Bucharest, which takes its name from the old and famous Victoriei road, which intersects Piata Victorei. The Victoria Palace - currently the seat of the Romanian Government - is the key institution of this place, seconded by the Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History, in the opposite direction.

The Arc de Triomphe in Bucharest is one more reason why Bucharest is called Little Paris. Despite the fact that it went through different stages of construction and reconstruction to reach its current form only in 1936, the Arc de Triomphe in Bucharest is more than a monument, it is proof of the heroism of the Romanians in the First World War.

Formerly called Podul Mogosoaiei, Calea Victoriei is one of the oldest and most famous streets in Bucharest, perhaps even the quintessence of little Paris. Along it, monumental architectural pieces are revealed one by one in the specific style:
The Cantacuzino Palace (today the George Enescu Museum) superb in its rococo style, the Cretulescu Church, the Revolution Square and the former headquarters of the Communist Party, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Palace of Economy (CEC Building), the Royal Palace and the Central University Library Carol I, the Palace of Telephones, the Palace of Posts (Current National History Museum).
