Known as the Palace of Winds" or "Palace of the Breeze" is situated in the center of the Jaipur city. Albert Hall museum was predominately constructed as to be a concert hall in year 1876, however, over the next few years, it was used as Town Hall until the King of Jaipur, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II suggested to use it as a museum for Industrial Arts. Later, the hall was used for displaying masterpieces of local artisans. The museum gets its name from the Victoria and Albert Museum of London, because of the similarity of architecture. Jal Mahal or Water Palace showcases the great Rajput style architecture and is located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amer renovated and enlarged the lake and the palace around in the 18th century. It has a picturesque view from the Man Sagar Dam and the Nahargarh hills. The five-storied structure is built in red sandstone and has been one of the must-visit places in Jaipur because of its gorgeous view.
