We are heading to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will begin your hike in the Ollantaytambo area, passing through terraces and tambos, until we reach the foot of one of the area’s most significant mountains: Apu Buena Negra, a granite geological formation. From the Cachiccata quarry, we’ll have a stunning view of the snow-capped Veronica, one of the most significant peaks in the Urubamba mountain range, and of the Pakaritampu pyramid. It is here that we’ll enjoy your lunch, followed by the descent from the mountain, whilst admiring breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley. Your hike ends at “El Rancho”, in the community of Cachiccata.
