Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari

Valley of the Kings

Colossi of Memnon
They are only remnants of a complete mortuary temple erected by Amenhotep III. They are two huge stone statues. Quartzite sandstone blocks were located in Cairo and transported 700 km to Luxor to be used as statue bases.
