Maconde Viewpoint
The Maconde Viewpoint area was generally inaccessible until the 1920s, when the first road was built. The low-lying coast and uneven surface made it quite a challenge to drive through but recent renovations have made it much safer. The winding road along the basalt cliffs with the ocean lapping against the rocks, make for quite a sight and is a popular spot for those interested in watching the ocean swells.
