San Miguel de Allende was the place of residence of Ignacio de Allende. Due to the importance of this leader, the Villa de San Miguel el Grande was renamed San Miguel de Allende. His house is a wonderful colonial construction located on Cuna de Allende street on the corner of Umarán. The visit has three main attractions. You can appreciate the architecture of the house, relive the history of the independence leader and discover what the way of life was like at that time. Without a doubt, it is one of the most outstanding places to visit in San Miguel de Allende.
