Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
Hey there! So you want to show your kids the real Morocco? This is the tour. We're taking you and your family deep into the Sahara Desert - and trust me, your children will never forget riding camels across those massive sand dunes at sunset. We've done this trip with hundreds of families, and honestly? The kids usually have more fun than the parents. Here's what makes this perfect for families: we keep the driving comfortable with plenty of stops (because we know kids need to stretch their legs), the desert camp has actual beds and private bathrooms (no roughing it), and everything's included so you're not constantly digging for your wallet.

Itinerary
Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
Day 4
Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou → Skoura Valley
5 Stops
1
The Main Square - Jemaa El-fnaa
We pick you up from your hotel and head to Jemaa el-Fnaa Square if you want to grab coffee or last-minute snacks. Then we're off toward the Atlas Mountains - you can literally see them from Marrakech!
The kids will love watching the city disappear as we climb higher into the mountains.
30 minutes
2
High Atlas Mountains
This is where it gets exciting. The road winds up through traditional Berber villages that look like they're glued to the mountainside. Your kids will be glued to the windows spotting:
→ Goats climbing on cliffs
→ Waterfalls cascading down
→ Mud-brick houses with flat roofs
→ Vendors selling fresh walnuts and honey
2 hours
3
Ait Ben Haddou
Okay, THIS is the big stop for Day 1. Ait Ben Haddou is an ancient fortified village - basically a massive mud castle that's been here for centuries. And it's famous.
Movies filmed here:
Kingdom of Heaven
Lawrence of Arabia
Gladiator
Game of Thrones (the slave city scenes)
The Mummy
And like 20 more
Kids recognize it even if they don't realize it. A local guide walks you through the kasbah explaining how families still live here and pointing out all the movie filming locations.
What you'll do:
Cross the river on stepping stones (dry season) or a small bridge
Explore narrow maze-like alleyways
Climb to the top for incredible valley views (it's a bit of a hike but kids 5+ can do it)
See traditional Berber houses, grain storage rooms, and ancient doors
Take a million photos - this place is STUNNING
Parent tip: Bring water bottles. It gets hot climbing to the top, but the panoramic view is absolutely worth it. Let kids explore at their own pace - there's cool stuff around every corner.
1 hour
4
Ouarzazate
Quick stop in Ouarzazate for lunch at a family-friendly restaurant (not included - you choose what you want). We'll recommend spots with clean bathrooms and kid menus.
30 minutes
5
Skoura
Arrive in skoura , depending on schedule you might visit more places in the skoura , which your Hotel / Riad is located
