During the stop at the Trapani Salt Pans, travelers will be able to admire one of the most characteristic landscapes of western Sicily. Salt tanks, traditional windmills and reflections on the water create a unique scenery, particularly suggestive for panoramic photographs. The visit allows you to discover the history of salt harvesting and the importance of this ancient activity for the territory. During the visit to Erice travelers will explore one of the most fascinating medieval villages in Sicily, located on a mountain with panoramic views of the coast and the Egadi Islands. The walk crosses cobbled streets, historic squares and ancient churches, with the possibility to admire the views from the lookouts and the town walls. It will be possible to see the Castle of Venus from the outside and discover the unique atmosphere of the village, including historic architecture, small craft shops and suggestive views.
