Elephanta Caves is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient rock-cut temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Inside the main cave, travelers will see beautifully carved pillars, large sculptures, and the iconic Trimurti – the three-faced form of Shiva. Your guide will explain the history, mythology, and architecture of these 1,500-year-old caves

Elephanta-Höhlen
Elephanta Caves is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on a peaceful island about one hour Gateway of India. After a scenic ride, your guide leads you through the local market and up the steps to the caves. The tour covers the Main Shiva Cave, the iconic Trimurti sculpture, the grand Hall of Pillars, and detailed panels such as Nataraja, Yogishvara, and Ardhanarishvara. You will also explore the East and West smaller caves, enjoy the nature trail, and stop at beautiful viewpoints overlooking the sea. We spend around 2.5–3 hours on the island, allowing enough time for guide explanations, photos, and exploring at a comfortable pace before returning .
