What makes this tour unique is that your guide will customize your experience based on your interests.
All guests will experience the same walk through the Metcalfe crevice, Duncan Caves and a break at the waterfall. However, your guide will work with you to customize the loop into the falls and back, giving you the ability to “choose your own adventure” on your way back. There are three different route options, varying in length from 8.5km to 10.5km (5hrs). Some offer more beautiful lookouts, others more cave and crevice exploration opportunities.

Hike Description: Enjoy a guided 9.5km - 10.5km (5hrs) hike at Metcalfe Rock and through the Duncan Escarpment Provincial Nature Reserve. The hike starts a short distance from the Metcalfe Crevice where you will explore the caves. You will then ascend to the top of Metcalfe Rock enjoying several lookout points along the way over the Kolapore Creek Valley.
Your guide will then lead you through a mature forest containing ancient white cedars, apple trees and several deep crevices; before reaching a beautiful waterfall just over midway through the hike. We will stop for a well deserved br...
