Next destination is Zhinvali dam.Zhinvali, also Jinvali, is an artificial water reservoir located on the river Aragvi in Georgia. The building of the hydroelectric dam formed the Zhinvali Reservoir.

Ananuri fortress, Ananuri was a castle and seat of the eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty which ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles.

Next stop on the way in Gudauri – remarkable ski resort(open from December until April) in Georgia. Resort is located at the altitude 2200 meters above the sea level. we will visit frendship monument in Gudauri and drive to Kazbegi.

we will change our vehicle to a four-wheel drive car to reach Gergeti Holy Trinity Church located on altitude of 2170 m.Visit top of Mount Gergeti, Holy Trinity Church 14th c. standing on the top of Stephantsminda and at the same time under the foothills of magnificent peak Kazbegi (5033m). In the evening drive back to Tbilisi passing by Gudauri ski resort.Overnight in Tbilisi.
