Eagle's Nest (Kehlsteinhaus) is a historic mountain retreat perched at 1,834 meters (6,017 feet) on the Kehlstein mountain in the Bavarian Alps, near Berchtesgaden, Germany. Originally built as a gift for Adolf Hitler 50th birthday, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Accessible by a scenic bus ride and an elevator through the mountain, it is a popular tourist destination for its dramatic setting and historical significance. The site also houses a restaurant and a museum, providing insights into its controversial past.
