Guoliang Village and Guoliang Tunnel Road
Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel lobby in early morning, and head to Guoliang Village and Guoliang Tunnel Road. Guoliang Village was a tiny Chinese village high in the Taihang Mountains in Henan Province. It was built on cliffy and abrupt mountains with an elevation of 1000 meters, and has a specialty in stone.
Guoliang Tunnel is one of the most famous tunnels in the world. The road was built in 1972. With hand tools, 13 strong villagers started carving a road down the side of the canyon road. It was finished in 5 years, and the result is that the village is famed as a tourist attraction.
Upon arrival, accompany by your tour guide and explore the unique village, learn the history and story from your guide.
During the visiting, you will stop for a local lunch at the village.
After the tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your Zhengzhou hotel.
