8:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Munich. We will head south for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes directly to Lake Eibsee, the base for the Zugspitze—Germany's highest mountain at 2,962 meters above sea level ;-)
From there, a modern cable car will whisk us to the mountain peak in under 10 minutes, where you can take in magnificent panoramic views over the Alps. Because the summit crosses the border into Austria, you’ll have the unique chance to sample both Bavarian and Tyrolean specialties in one spot!
