Itinerary
Guests will join Amel and Djezia in Djezia's home in Algiers for a hands-on introduction to traditional Algerian cooking. Together, you’ll prepare dishes such as couscous, rechta, bourek or harira, learning family recipes, techniques and the stories behind the food.
Guests can also choose to visit a local market with Amel to shop for fresh ingredients and spices, meet local vendors and browse for souvenirs.
Back at the house, you’ll cook together before sitting down to share the meal, with plenty of conversation about Algerian culture, family life and tips for exploring Algiers.
