The Cenote Sac Actun (sometimes spelled Sakactun) is one of the most impressive and extensive underground cave and cenote systems in the world. Its Mayan name means "White Cave," a reference to the spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations found inside.
It's an ideal place for snorkeling , which allows for a deeper exploration of the cave system.
A visit here is an adventure. You'll walk along jungle paths to reach the cave entrances. Inside, you'll glide through calm, transparent, and cool water. Sunlight filters through some openings, creating a visual spectacle.
