About
Camel trekking is a leisurely hike to discover the sand dunes of the M'hamid and Erg Chegaga in Morocco. You can ride a dromedary or go on foot. You leave Marrakech in the minibus early in the morning and drive on the winding pass road over the high Atlas and along the Drâa valley to the edge of the desert. The Drâa River is the longest river in Morocco and feeds beautiful oases with water. The dromedary trekking takes you for 4 days through sand dunes, stone deserts and over dry plains. On the return journey you will visit Ait Ben Haddou and then drive back to Marrakech via the Ounila Valley and the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass.
