From the Museu do Oriente, walk across the open parking lot heading south, toward the sailing masts in front of you.
Gate 1 is located right in front of the café Espaço Zarco.
If you have the basketball court on your left, continue straight toward the masts — Gate 1 will be on your right-hand side.
