Once you have arrived at the The Mutianyu Great Wall, take your time to marvel at this wondrous structure and the surrounding hillsides that look north toward Mongolia. The Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. Built mainly from granite, the pass at Mutianyu is an appropriately unique section of the Great Wall.At Mutianyu section, you can choose to take the cable round trip or ski lift up and toboggan down, your English speaking guide will give detailed stories about the sites.

Then, you will be heading to a local restaurant for lunch, it will take about 40 minutes there. Continue the visit at the Drum Tower, it was equipped with bronze clepsydra and drums that were beaten to mark the hours. The drum was beaten quickly for 18 times and then slowly for 18 times to mark the hour. You have the opportunity to climb to the top of Drum tower for an excellent view of drumming performance which lasts for 5 minutes.
