Lecumberri
We begin over coffee in Lekunberri, the village your local host calls home. This relaxed first meeting allows us to get to know your interests and choose the best route according to the weather, the season and the pace of your group.

One possible route takes us to the springs near Iribas, where clear water emerges from the limestone landscape and forms the beginning of the Larraun River. Enjoy a gentle walk through the forest while discovering the natural features and local stories connected to this special place.

Depending on the season and your interests, we may continue to Betelu to discover clear mountain waters, peaceful riverside corners and the rural landscapes of the Araitz Valley. In warmer weather, there may be time to cool your feet in the river or simply enjoy the surroundings.

Another possible stop is the Ixkier Waterfall, reached either through the village of Mugiro or along part of the historic Plazaola route. Surrounded by woodland, this peaceful setting is ideal for a gentle walk and, when conditions are suitable, a relaxed picnic with local products.
