At 634 meters tall, it is the tallest free-standing structure in Japan and became the second in World after Burj Khalifa.

Asakusa's main attraction is Sensoji, a very popular Buddhist temple, built in the 7th century. The temple is approached via the Nakamise, a shopping street that has been providing temple visitors with a variety of traditional, local snacks and tourist souvenirs for centuries.

Main attraction is Ueno Zoo, which was opened as the first zoo in Japan in 1882. Currently, about 400 species of animals, including rare animals such as Sumatra tiger, are bred. The number of admissions is the best in Japan. There are many exhibits on the site, including the Giant Panda Building and Japanese wild birds and animals such as sika deer and Japanese serow deer, the Japanese animal section, and the forest where the gorilla tigers live.

Meiji Shinto Shrine was dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shōken. It is located in a forest that covers an area of 70 hectares (170 acres). This area is covered by an evergreen forest that consists of 120,000 trees of 365 different species, which were donated by people from all parts of Japan when the shrine was established. The forest is visited by many as a recreation and relaxation area in the center of Tokyo.

The Shibuya Scramble Crossing is an intersection of 10 lanes located right outside JR Shibuya Station. When the traffic light turns green, 1,000 to 2,000 people cross the intersection at once, using five pedestrian crossings. It's said to be the busiest intersection in the world and is an iconic landmark symbolizing Shibuya.

Take some pictures at the statue of Hachiko, the most loyal dog in Japan. It commemorates Hachi's unwavering loyalty to his owner, Professor Hidesaburo Ueno, whom he would meet at the station every day. Even after Professor Ueno's death, Hachi continued to wait for him at the station for nearly a decade.

The Edo-Tokyo Museum (江戸東京博物館, Edo Tōkyō Hakubutsukan) offers permanent exhibition vividly illustrates the past of Tokyo (known as Edo until 1869) through its exhibits and covers many features of the capital from the Edo Period to relatively recent decades.

Edo Castle was the residence of the Tokugawa shoguns who ruled Japan from 1603 to 1867. It was the center of political power in Japan during the Edo period. The castle grounds were vast, with the site expanding over time to cover an area that included parts of modern-day Tokyo.

Tokyo Disneyland was the first Disney theme park to open outside the United States and the complex is the only Disney resort in the world not owned or operated by Disney Experiences in any capacity. It consists of Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, and Ikspiari, which is a variation of the Downtown Disney and Disney Springs shopping, dining, and entertainment areas found at the Disney resorts in Anaheim and Lake Buena Vista respectively. It also contains Bon Voyage!, a large Disney goods specialty shop.

Tokyo Tower was built in 1958 and is Tokyo's symbol. It has a strong presence amid the crowded buildings, even in a city as large as Tokyo and many tourists are still attracted to its majestic appearance.

Odaiba Seaside Park is a standout spot in Tokyo, offering a mix of relaxation and excitement. Located on the man-made island of Odaiba, this park stretches along Tokyo Bay, providing stunning views of the Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo skyline. The park features a sandy beach, perfect for a stroll or just sitting and enjoying the sea breeze. While swimming isn’t allowed, the beach is a great place for picnics and playing in the sand. Tsukiji fish market used to prosper between 1935 to 1983 as the largest wholesale fish market in Japan. It closed down in 2018 and moved to Toyosu but the historical land of Tsukiji is still appreciated by the locals. There are still many shops in this old market which are busy with tourists looking forward to eating the delicious seafood.
