National Elk Refuge
The 24,700+ acre National Elk Refuge protects a critically important habitat for numerous iconic species, including elk, bison, wolves, trumpeter swans, bald eagles, bighorn sheep, and cutthroat trout. It is a premier location for wildlife watching, photography, and educational opportunities.

Teton Point Turnout
The Elk Ranch Flats Turnout is a former cattle ranch that now features frequent sightings of bison and elk grazing on the grasslands.

Grand Teton National Park
Winter adventures in Grand Teton National Park are magical. You will spend your time marveling at the majesty of the Teton Mountain Range while searching for moose, bison, coyotes, retail foxes, and wolves while learning about the geological and cultural history of the region.

Colter Bay Picnic Area
Conditions permitting, you will have a chance to explore the shoreline of a frozen Jackson Lake at Colter Bay Village. From the shoreline, you will enjoy fantastic views across Jackson Lake to Mount Moran and the northern end of the Teton Range.

You will visit the location where Ansel Adams photographed his iconic image of the serpentine-like Snake River and the high peaks Teton Mountain Range.

Kelly
Founded by William Kelly in 1907, the town was nearly voted the county seat for Teton County in 1925. That same year a massive landslide dammed the Gros Ventre River forming Lower Slide Lake. Two years later, the natural dam failed, flooding the town and killing six people.

Mormon Row Historic District
Formerly known as the town of Grovont, the Mormon Row Historic District is one of the most photographed areas of Grand Teton National Park.

Jackson Lake
Jackson Lake is the remnant of large glacial gouging from the Teton Mountain Range and is fed by runoff from small glaciers. The main source of water is the Snake River, which flows from the nearby Teton Wildnerness Area.

Enjoy a brief comfort stop at the historic Signal Mountain Lodge, and appreciate the majestic beauty of Jackson Lake and the massive 12,610-foot Mt. Moran. (please note Signal Mountain Summit is not accessible from November - May)
