Welcome to Philippe's cabinetmaking workshop! Is the aperitif an institution at your house? You are in the right place !
You will begin the workshop with the gluing of wooden slats of different species (oak, beech, ash, chestnut, walnut, etc.) to create your aperitif board.
While the board is drying, you and Philippe will begin cutting and gluing the plates for the handle of the knife. You will also choose the blade!
You will shape the handle of the knife, which will be held by brass assembly rivets, using rasps and sanding papers of different grits.
Next, you will clean and sand the appetizer board.
