After meeting your driver, depart from Jerusalem and cross into Jordan to begin your spiritual and cultural journey. Your first stop is the Baptism Site (Bethany Beyond the Jordan), where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist—a deeply sacred place for Christians around the world. Continue to Mount Nebo, the holy mountain from which Moses is believed to have seen the Promised Land before his passing. Next, visit the charming town of Madaba, famous for its beautiful 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land inside St. George’s Church. Afterward, drive onward to Amman, the modern and bustling capital of Jordan. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure—either to relax after your journey or to explore Amman’s welcoming atmosphere and local cuisine.
