Also known as the Gulf of La Spezia; at the far end, two popular tourist destinations: Lerici village with its majestic castle and Portovenere, Unesco World Heritage Site, which enclosed him. The name "Gulf of Poets" derives from the sojourn, over the centuries, of many artists, authors and poets, attracted to the unique beauty of the area. Circumnavigation of the islands (Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto) and return through Portovenere channel. Palmaria Island is reachable in a few minutes from Porto Venere, by boat or ferry; it is a perfect place to spend a bathing day, with clear sea and unpolluted nature. You can relax looking at Porto Venere a few metres from you, have lunch in the restaurants or bars on the island, or take a walk in the many pathways, admiring wonderful landscapes.
