You will visit a whitebait processing factory with on-site tasting (or a video explanation if there is no landing), observe traditional gillnet fishing from a boat during the autumn season, or experience the unique nighttime Ebisuki fishing of Lake Hamanako in warmer months. The program also includes a fisherman’s meal made with fresh local catch, a farm experience, an eel farm activity with an eel-course meal, and a scenic sightseeing cruise on Lake Hamanako—famous for its brackish waters and thriving eel industry.
