Prague Castle
Uncover the key features of Prague Castle, starting with St. Vitus Cathedral, which has origins tracing back to 930 AD. Next to it lies the Old Royal Palace, home to Vladislav Hall—the location of the notorious defenestration of two Catholic Habsburg vicegerents that triggered one of Europe's most devastating wars: The Thirty Years’ War. Visit St. George’s Basilica, established around 920 AD by Prince Vratislav I, and soon after, it became home to Bohemia's oldest Benedictine convent. The Golden Lane, from the late 15th century, is a vibrant and charming passageway that once accommodated the castle’s staff—including goldsmiths and soldiers—and later welcomed notable figures like writers and artists such as Franz Kafka.

Noteworthy pieces include works by Bruegel the Elder, Canaletto, and Velázquez alongside medieval and Renaissance artworks, weaponry and armor, as well as ceramics like the largest surviving Delft dinner service from the 17th century worldwide.
