We meet at the Winged Lion Memorial in Malá Strana, dedicated to the Czechoslovak RAF pilots and personnel who served during the Second World War. This brief introduction provides historical context before we travel together by public transport to the National Technical Museum.

We explore the Aviation section within the museum’s Transportation Hall at a thoughtful, unhurried pace, focusing on historic Czech aircraft and selected foreign aircraft connected to Czech aviation. Through guided discussion, we examine technological development, peacetime and wartime contexts, and the human stories behind the machines.
