We will taste the legendary Cecina (chickpea flatbread) served hot from a traditional wood-fired oven and meet the third-generation vendors who keep Pisa’s culinary traditions alive.

Formerly the political center of Pisa and a masterpiece of the architect Vasari. We will admire the intricate "sgraffito" facade of the Scuola Normale and discuss the chilling legend of the "Hunger Tower" mentioned by Dante.
