The trek drives from Kathmandu to Dhap, then ridgeline walking through Sherpa villages, forest and alpine meadow leading up to Pikey Peak Base Camp. The summit push happens before dawn, cold and dark, worth it once Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and the surrounding giants come into view at once.
Be honest about the effort: this is not a stroll. Some sections are steeper than short trek suggests, and nights on the ridge get cold enough that a proper sleeping bag matters. What...
