- Morning Departure from Amman: After breakfast, meet your driver and set off on a scenic 3-hour drive south along the Desert Highway to ancient Nabatean city of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World - Petra:Enter through dramatic Siq canyon, a narrow gorge flanked by towering cliffs and catch your first breathtaking glimpse of the Treasury (Al-Khazneh) Continue exploring Petra’s countless wonders,including: ○ The Street of Facades ○ The Royal Tombs ○ The Roman Theater ○ Colonnaded Streets, Temples & Sacrificial Altars ○ Optional hike to the Monastery (Ad-Deir) or the High Place of Sacrifice (time permitting) ● To Wadi Rum: In the afternoon, drive 1.5 hours further south to the majestic desert of Wadi Rum, also known as “The Valley of the Moon.” ● Overnight in a Desert Camp: Arrive at your Bedouin-style camp, enjoy a traditional dinner, stargazing in the crystal-clear desert sky, and experience the warm hospitality of the Bedouins.
