From Capo Posillipo you can enjoy one of the most spectacular and panoramic views of Naples and its gulf. This promontory, which is part of the Posillipo district, offers a privileged view that embraces the entire Gulf of Naples, offering a breathtaking scenery that ranges from the city, the sea, to the islands and the coast.
Looking south, you can see Vesuvius rising majestically in the background, with its conical shape dominating the landscape. From Capo Posillipo you can also see the port of Naples and, further afield, the beautiful island of Capri, with its cliffs that plunge into the sea. The panorama also includes the Sorrento peninsula, with the Amalfi Coast appearing on the horizon on a clear day, giving the impression of a postcard landscape.
