Climb to Monte Pellegrino and visit the Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia. Once you leave the port of Palermo you will head to the first stop. The route winds DA through the panoramic curves of Monte Pellegrino, defined by Goethe as “the most beautiful promontory in the world”. At the top, the Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia, the patron saint of Palermo, awaits you, a place of spirituality and legend set in the rock. Free time to visit the sacred cave, admire the view of the city and capture unforgettable views.

As a second stage from the mountain we will head to the sea: the descent leads to the famous Mondello, a fishing village with its golden beach and turquoise waters. A pleasant walk along the seafront, a homemade ice cream or a sea view coffee will give you moments of pure relaxation. DA don’t miss the magnificent Charleston, a former liberty bathhouse suspended over the water, and the refined floral-style villas.

As a last stop we will head to Palermo in the heart of its Old Town among art treasures and authentic life, among its monumental squares and the lively atmosphere of the historic markets. During the foot stops, you can admire: - The Teatro Massimo, symbol of Palermo artistic greatness (external visit) - Palermo Cathedral, a masterpiece of Arab-Norman architecture (free visit, weather permitting) - The Four Songs and Piazza Pretoria, with the famous Fountain of Shame - The Ballarò Point of Sale, where scents and colors tell the true popular soul of Palermo.

After enjoying the historic center of Palermo, the return takes place along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the most scenic street of the city, with a last look at its historic buildings. (transfer duration about 40 min.) Arrive at the port in time for departure or any coincidences with other activities.
