Begin your adventure with an early pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel through the beautiful Andean highlands toward the Palcoyo region, enjoying views of mountains, local villages, and rural landscapes along the way.
After approximately three hours, arrive at the trailhead and start a gentle scenic walk of less than one hour. This route is perfect for travelers who want to enjoy a colorful mountain experience without a difficult hike.

PALCOYO ADVENTURE
Explore Palcoyo, known as one of Cusco’s hidden gems. Unlike the classic Rainbow Mountain route, Palcoyo offers a quieter and easier experience, with three rainbow-colored mountains, a unique Stone Forest, and herds of alpacas in a peaceful high-Andean setting.
At the main viewpoint, enjoy panoramic views of the colorful mountains and the Stone Forest, with plenty of time to take photos, relax, and enjoy the landscape. The trail is short, scenic, and mostly flat, making it one of the easiest Rainbow Mountain alternatives near Cusco.
RETURN TO CUSCO
After the visit, walk back to the vehicle and begin the return journey to Cusco. Breakfast and lunch are included, making this a comfortable and well-organized full-day experience.
The tour ends near Cusco Main Square, close to most hotels.
