Meet your instructor, a former professional sumo wrestler, and begin your private lesson. For one hour, enjoy personalized coaching exclusively for your group. Learn the fundamentals of sumo, including shiko (leg stomps), suriashi (sliding footwork), stance, balance, and pushing techniques before practicing signature winning moves and testing your skills in a friendly match with your instructor.
Beyond the training, hear firsthand about life inside a sumo stable, the discipline of training, and the mindset required before stepping into the ring for an official bout. You'll also have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and enjoy open conversation with your instructor.
