The Tower of the Sun
Expo ’70 Commemorative Park (Approx. 50 minutes)
The tour begins at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park, developed on the site of the 1970 Japan World Exposition (Osaka Expo). As you enter the park, you’ll be greeted by the “Tower of the Sun,” the iconic symbol of the Expo created by artist Taro Okamoto. Its overwhelming presence and dynamic form never fail to impress visitors.

EXPO’70 Pavilion (Approx. 60 minutes)
The highlight of this tour, the EXPO’70 Pavilion, is a memorial museum built using one of the original Expo pavilions. Inside, you can vividly experience the enthusiasm of Japan and the world at that time, along with the social atmosphere of half a century ago. Through various exhibits and preserved materials, it feels as if you’ve traveled back in time to 1970.
