Arrive in Takayama Station at 17:40. This city is famous for its extremely well preserved buildings and festival culture. Here are some things we recommend you try during your stay in Takayama:
- Visit the Takayama Yatai Kaikan to see the beautiful and well crafted festival parade floats.
- Enjoy traditional snacks and crafts along a picturesque river at the Miyagawa Morning Market.
- Travel back in time at the Kusakabe Folk Museum to get a glimpse into the daily life of the Edo Period.
