Medina of Fez
El centro histórico de Fez y la sede del gobierno marroquí hasta 1912, Fez Medina (Fez el-Bali) sigue siendo el mayor atractivo de la ciudad: un distrito extenso de zocos y callejones llenos de grandes mezquitas, palacios y madrassas. La antigua medina es ahora un sitio protegido del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO, todavía rodeado por sus murallas de la ciudad del siglo XIII y se accede a través de una serie de puertas monumentales, entre las que destaca Bab Boujeloud, del siglo XX, que se celebra por su impresionante mosaico azul.

Bab Boujloud
Bab (que significa 'puerta' en inglés) Boujloud fue construido por los franceses durante su ocupación de Marruecos en 1913. Sirve como puerta de entrada al corazón de las bulliciosas calles de la medina de Fez. Justo al lado se encuentra la puerta original del siglo XII, construida con una entrada indirecta en una inclinación para bloquear la entrada de arietes.
