We visit the small Church of St. George (Sv. Jure), located on a scenic plateau above the village of Gata. This historic site was the traditional gathering place where the Duke (Knez) of the Poljica Republic was elected. The Poljica Republic, founded in the 13th century, was one of the smallest self-governed republics in Europe, known for its unique statute and strong local autonomy. From this peaceful viewpoint, guests enjoy panoramic views while learning about the fascinating political system that once governed this region.

The tour continues to the impressive statue of Mila Gojsalić, a legendary local heroine who sacrificed herself to defend Omiš from the Ottoman invasion in the 16th century. Standing high above the Cetina Canyon, the monument offers one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Omiš, the river, and the Adriatic coast. Once in town, we stop at the eastern entrance viewpoint above Mančina, continue toward the City Harbour (Gradska Luka), the central sandy beach, and the lighthouse at the tip of the beach for stunning coastal views.
