Ronaldo your guide will share with you some interesting history of the Iglesia de San Andres of Madrid as well as stories of the Capilla del Obispo located very nearby.

Our first tapas stop in an historic tavern with centuries of history where Ronaldo will share stories and our guests will enjoy a tapa and a drink.

As our paseo continues you will see the beautiful Plaza Mayor of Madrid and your guide will share some interesting stories and events that are part of the Plaza Mayor's 400 years plus history. That will include a story about a particular sandwich the locals love.

We will take a stroll through one of Madrid´s most famous municipal markets known for its beautiful architecture and myriad tapas stalls and stands.

Your guide will show our guests the door of "miracles or divine intervention" as well as discuss the 3 centuries of Madrid architectural history displayed in prominent buildings there. Maybe even a secret cookies option will be realised if our guests are adventurous.

As we continue our historical journey through old Madrid we will discuss with our guests the oldest Catholic church in Madrid and some twists with Moorish history as well.

Guests will enjoy spectacular views of the Almudena Cathedral of Madrid while their guide will explain the unique history of Madrid´s Catedral and its ties to the city of Toldeo in Spain, and the Vatican in Rome.

Plaza de Oriente is a beautiful plaza in front of the Royal Palace of Madrid. Guests will be able to take pictures of the Royal Opera and varios monuments around the plaza. Guests will learn about the woman, a Spanish Queen, who had the plaza built.

Your guide will share the history of the Royal Palace of Madrid as well as anecdotes about the prior Royal Alcazar of Madrid which preceded the current palace same location. Guests will have ample time to take photographs and ask questions about the Royal Palace of Madrid. We will also briefly enjoy a look into the adjacent Sabatini Gardens.

The tour ends at our final tapas stop also in an historical restaurant. Each guest will enjoy 2 delicious gourmet tapas and 1 drink of either soda, sparkling water, wine, beer or cava. We will have a relaxed conversation about journey together through old Madrid.
