Jama Masjid

Red Fort
Red Fort, located in Old Delhi, was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1638 when he moved his capital from Agra to Delhi. Made of red sandstone, it served as the main residence of Mughal rulers for nearly 200 years. The fort features grand halls like Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-Khas, beautiful gardens, and royal apartments. After the decline of the Mughals, it was taken over by the British in 1857. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of India’s rich history.

Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib
Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Chandni Chowk marks the site where Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, was executed in 1675 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb for defending religious freedom. Built in 1783 by Baghel Singh, the gurudwara stands as a symbol of sacrifice and courage. Today, it is an important place of worship where devotees gather to pray and experience the community kitchen (langar).
