We head to the Negritos Salt Flats. This natural site is characterized by a thin white layer covering it, produced by the low altitude and the sun, which evaporates the water, leaving only the remains of the salt on the surface.
We will stop at Punta Balcones. It is the westernmost point of the South American landmass. It is located south of the town of Negritos in Peru, in the district of La Brea, province of Talara, Piura Region.
We will visit "Hito 99-A" at the summit.
Time for lunch.
