Welcome to the Natural History Tour at the Curi-Cancha Reserve.
It's a pleasure to have you here in one of the most magical places in Monteverde, the cloud forest. Today we'll explore this unique ecosystem together, full of life, history, and beauty.
During our walk, we'll discover how this forest works as a whole—from the epiphytic plants that decorate the trees like hanging gardens, to the hummingbirds that buzz around us and the monkeys that cross the treetops.
I'll talk about species adaptations, the relationship between climate and biodiversity, and how the cloud forest has evolved over time. We'll also learn to identify bird songs, mammal tracks, and much more.
The idea is that this tour is not just a hike, but an experience that sparks curiosity, a connection with nature, and respect for this very special ecosystem.
