You can enter the Excavation Site Exhibition Hall and see huge excavation sites with many archaeological features as they were originally found. There are several explanations showing how the buildings changed over many years.

Hokkeji Temple
You will have an amazing opportunity to visit a working historic Buddhist temple! Founded by the Empress Komyo in 745. It is said that she washed the dirt off a thousand people afflicted with illness in the Karafuro bathhouse.
