Parc national d'Amboseli
You will be picked up early in the morning from your centrally located hotel for a full-day excursion to Amboseli National Park. The journey, conducted in a comfortable tour van, takes approximately three hours and passes through Maasai territory. Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, is visible from within the park. Along the route, you may see young Maasai children by the roadside.
Amboseli National Park is known for its sparse vegetation, which increases the likelihood of viewing wildlife. Key species found in the park include African bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, impalas, Masai lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, plains zebras, and blue wildebeest, among others. Numerous bird species are also present.
A hot lunch is provided at Kibo Safari Camp, where a swimming pool is available should you wish to use it. Following lunch, the return journey to Nairobi begins, with drop-off at either your hotel or the international airport.
