We will begin our tour in one of the city's most emblematic squares, the perfect place to give a general introduction to the origin and history of Murcia.

We will explore the main axis of the city and delve into its medieval layout to read the traces of Al-Andalus in the current urban design.

We will visit the old medieval convent built on the remains of the old "Alcázar" or palace of the Muslim kings on the outskirts of the city.

We will visit the "Mursiya" interpretation center in the Santa Eulalia neighborhood. There we can learn about the medieval city, viewing archaeological remains of such significant elements as the walls and a necropolis.

This impressive 18th-century Baroque church houses in its basement what was the "Alcázar Mayor" or main palace of the Muslim kings in Murcia, of which we can still admire some remains, such as the royal pantheon or the oratory.
