Departure
Please drive cautiously to the trailhead! The last few miles are over narrow dirt road! The view into Big Creek Canyon is beautiful as you drive in, so please drive slowly as you take in the views!

Itinerary
Embark on a mild 2-mile hike with scenic mountain views to a spot along the creek for tea in the mid-morning/brunch hour!
On the hike, your guide will identify local plants and animals! You'll see Beargrass in June, Thimbleberries in July, and Huckleberries in August. There are also plenty of creatures that venture up this canyon! We have seen Moose, Elk, Mountain Goats, Black Bears, Pika, and Deer up here! Bring your binoculars!
There are a few scenic destinations along the creek to stop at for tea. The closest is about 1 mi from the trailhead.
