Your adventure begins with a morning pickup between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM from your accommodation in Cape Town (please be ready by 7:50 AM). Relax and enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling landscapes and mountain passes of the Western Cape as you make your way to a private game reserve home to Africa’s famous Big 5. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink before joining a 2–3 hour guided safari in an open 4x4 vehicle. Led by an experienced ranger, you’ll have the opportunity to spot lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and leopards, as well as zebras, giraffes, springboks, and many bird species roaming freely across the reserve. After the game drive, savor a delicious buffet-style lunch at the reserve’s restaurant before starting your return journey. On the way back, stop at one of the Cape Winelands’ charming estates for a relaxing wine tasting experience, where you can sample a selection of local wines surrounded by stunning vineyard views.
